Connor is an Arizona native who is currently a Chicago-based freelance Lighting Designer. His recent design credits include I Build Giants (The Plagarists), Queen of the Night (Victory Gardens), Sea Change at the MCA (Cabinet of Curiosity), House of the Exquisite Corpse (Rough House Theater), Alexithymia (Third Mask Festival), and Above the Water (Third Mask Festival).
He is incredibly interested in the organic ways that light moves; both in the real world and in a theatrical context. He's excited in by the way light affects movement and the way movement affects light.
Previously, he was the Lighting Design Intern on the Broadway transfer of The Sound Inside—which was nominated for the Tony award for Best Lighting Design of a Play in 2020; a Venue Technician at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival; and was a Production Intern in 2018 at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival. He is currently a Lighting Technician at House of Blues Chicago.
His installation work, There’s Coca-Cola in the Soil and the Sugar Rush Will Only Last So Long, was presented at the C33 Gallery in the winter 2021 as part of the HYPERLINK show.
